Bausch + Lomb produces a wide variety of contact lenses, the lifespan of your lenses depends entirely on the specific product line you are prescribed:

• Daily Lenses – Brands like INFUSE, Biotrue ONEday, and SofLens Daily Disposable are designed for single-use wear. You apply a fresh, sterile pair each morning and throw them away at the end of the day.
• Monthly Lenses – Brands like Bausch + Lomb ULTRA, PureVision2, and SofLens 38 are designed to be worn for up to a month. They must be removed, cleaned, and stored in a contact lens solution every night before being reused.

Majority of Bausch + Lomb lenses, including all daily lenses (INFUSE, Biotrue) and most monthlies (ULTRA, SofLens), the answer is no. They are FDA-approved for daily wear only. Sleeping in these lenses severely restricts oxygen to the cornea and significantly increases the risk of serious eye infections or corneal ulcers.

However, there is an exception: PureVision2. These specific silicone hydrogel lenses are highly breathable and FDA-approved for up to 30 days of continuous/extended wear, meaning you can potentially sleep in them if approved by your eye care professional. You should never sleep in any contact lens without explicit approval from your optometrist.
