About Bifocal Lenses Contacts
Bifocal contacts feature two distinct prescriptions in one lens to manage presbyopia. One section handles distance vision, while the other focuses on near tasks like reading. These lenses work well for people who want to avoid using reading glasses as they age. They provide a clear transition between different focal points, helping eyes adjust when shifting focus. You can find these in daily or monthly schedules to fit your personal routine and hygiene needs.

How Do Multifocal Contact Lenses Work?
Bifocal or multifocal contacts have more than one correction in the lens. This lets you see clearly at different distances. Because of this, these lenses need to stay stable on your eye. They have special features to keep them in place. This ensures your vision stays consistent.
Do not worry about comfort. These lenses have many features to keep your eyes happy. Each brand has its own benefits, like materials that lock in moisture and let your eyes breathe.

Advantages of Multifocal Contact Lenses
Multifocal contact lenses have many benefits for people with presbyopia:
- Multiple Wearing Options – You can choose daily, weekly, or monthly lenses. Pick the one that fits your lifestyle. Dailies are great for hygiene. Monthlies cost less for regular wearers.
- Seamless Vision – Unlike old lenses, these correct both near and far vision at the same time.
- No Glasses – You get clear vision without carrying multiple pairs of glasses. This is great for active people or sports.
- Comfort – Modern lenses use advanced materials. They hold moisture and let your eyes breathe. This prevents dryness during long days.
- Better Look – You can go glasses-free. This is perfect for special events or outdoor fun.
Is There a Trick to Wearing Multifocal Contacts?
The main "trick" is patience. Your brain needs time to get used to the different power zones in the lens. It creates a new way of seeing. This usually takes about a week or two.
Here are a few tips to help you adjust:
- Wear them consistently - Try to wear them every day. This helps your brain learn faster.
- Good lighting - Use bright light when you read. This helps your eyes focus on small print.
- Avoid your old glasses - Try not to switch back to your old glasses during the first week. This can confuse your eyes.
- Head position - When you read, hold the book or phone down and look down with your eyes. Keep your chin up.

I am very happy with Lens.com and my Proclear lenses. Ordering was quick and easy. I just took a photo of my prescription and they took care of the rest. Shipping was fast and the price was good.
Shipping and rebate expediency and accuracy.
I have been doing business with lens.com for many years now, and have found them to be an excellent provider of contact lenses. I would highly recommend them to anyone, wishing to save money on their contract purchase.
Dailies are the WAY TO GO!
I like that these are use and throw - less chance of infections or disease transmission. I never buy saline solution anymore, where I use to spend quite a bit on that in year when using the monthly contact. They are worth the extra cost IMO.
