CooperVision Contact Lenses

CooperVision produces a wide variety of contact lenses, the lifespan of your lenses depends entirely on the specific product line you are prescribed:

• Daily Lenses – Brands like MyDay, clariti 1 day, Proclear 1 day, and MiSight 1 day are designed for single-day use. You insert a fresh, sterile pair each morning and throw them away before going to sleep.
• Biweekly Lenses – The Avaira Vitality family is designed to be worn for up to 14 days. These require nightly removal, cleaning, and storage in contact lens solution.
• Monthly Lenses – Brands like Biofinity and Proclear are designed for 30 days of wear, requiring nightly cleaning and storage before being replaced with a new pair each month.

The majority of CooperVision lenses, including all their daily disposables and standard daily-wear lenses, are not compatible. Sleeping in standard lenses severely restricts oxygen flow to the cornea and significantly increases the risk of serious eye infections and corneal ulcers.

There is one major exception: Biofinity. The Biofinity family features a highly breathable silicone hydrogel material that is FDA-approved for up to 6 nights and 7 days of continuous extended wear. This means you can potentially sleep in them, but you must get explicit approval and a specific extended-wear schedule from your optometrist before doing so.

Clariti 1-Day

A highly popular, accessible daily disposable silicone hydrogel lens. It features AquaGen™ technology to naturally attract and bind water molecules to the lens surface throughout the day.

MiSight 1 day

A groundbreaking, FDA-approved daily disposable contact lens specifically engineered to slow the progression of nearsightedness (myopia) in children.
